Any suggestions for a proper AM3 bench board? (sorry for thread jacking OP).

I have that Biostar too and its a great board with unlocked (black edition) chips, but it can't push fsb very far so it sucks with locked CPUs.  I absolutely love it for the BE chips though.

Think I found a used UD3 I'll probably grab, need an AM3/+ board since I don't have anything good to run FX with.

Anyone know what the new addition to the "My Profile" section is all about? Just to make sure threadjack this even more.... offtopic.gif

If im not mistaken, it's a collection of your benching rigs you could use to prepopulate fields on new submissions. There are 2 more additions active so far, probably deploying a new version soon smile.gif

If you want a board for locked chips the DFI 790fx M2RSH, Biostar TA785GE 128M, or the Giga 790XTA UD4 are the boards you should look for.

They can all push well over 400 fsb, and some up to and over 450.

Along those lines and sort of dealing with the original topic of this thread. What are things to do to be able to push Referance Clock/HTT/FSB/Base Clock whatever you want to call it to the max on AMD boards?
