Computer would not connect...even though it's connected

Hi guys, I have a strange dilemna with a family member's computer. It is an Acer model AM3470G-UW10P connected to a 2Wire modem/router. I was told it stopped working one day.

At first I tried connecting to the router using my laptop, through wired and wireless, and they both worked fine. Every other appliances connected through the net worked except for this computer. I then uninstalled and then updated the driver for the ethernet port, but it still didn't have internet access. I thought the port may be faulty, so then we bought a wireless adapter, Netgear N150. Install was successful, and the software was able to recognize and join the network, but it it says "No Internet Access".

I've ran ipconfig /all and this is what I get:

I had the exact same issue, having a connection but no internet connection. Turned out my router crapped out on me.

Unfortunately we decided to re-install the operating system as a last resort, and the internet is working once again.
