I'm looking for a gaming monitor. I'm looking for a 1920x1080 res. My budget is $150-200. I was looking at the ASUS VH242H or VW246H.

I'm looking for a new monitor too, similar budget. Check out my thread:

Newegg has an open box Asus VS239H-P 23" IPS monitor for $152.99 shipped. I have the VS229H-P which is the 21.5" version of that monitor and both are great budget IPS monitors. It's even a better deal with the open box discount. If there is any issue with the monitor at all just contact Newegg and they will send you a shipping label free so there is no real risk to you. I've brought a lot of open box stuff from Newegg and have had real good luck.

From what i've been told the image quality is very good. Plus it has a lot of cool features like portrait mode. You flip your monitor for a better view on websites, very cool. Also, wall mount support biggrin.gif
