Try deleting RendererInfo.txt in C:\Users\[Account name]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim

Look, it's annoying but your screen resolution is typically something you change once and never bother with again. It could actually also be your monitor if it has some oddball drivers that lists compatible resolutions in a manner that Skyrim can't find them. Fill out your system specs. But in the meantime, here's a quick fix:

Go to c:\users\(username)\my documents\my games\skyrim and open the file named "SkyrimPrefs.ini" and look for these lines:
Quote:
bFull Screen=1
iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920

fMeshLODFadePercentDefault=1.2000

Change that to your desired resolution and continue on with life.

I just did a fresh re-install on my driver, I also used Driver Fusion to get rid of all the remnants from my older card. Did a fresh install of skyrim, and BAM! it worked.

Solved, Thanks for all the help.
