ok so i have my computer which has all the necessary components to run any game out, 16gb 8150 and ya 1000w psu.. 990fx saber chipset and a very large amount of cooling, so overheating is not an issue
i just got my sapphire active displayport adapter and now im working on getting the game to run in 3 monitors
eyefinity desktop works nicely
i have 2 6950's xfired, oc edition ... they have no overclocking atm, and everything in the system is at stock.. ram runs at 1600mhz.. stock is 2133
so what happens is in 2 games ive tried bf3 and l4d2 (steam) when i try and go to like 5760x 1080 res on bf3 and right when i hit apply full screen res.. it freezes all 3 screens black... and im like ***... 1 screen i can play days on end.. or so i hope, ive never done that but i mean i guarentee it will... i will run memtest or prime to ensure stabiltiy if you recommend, the only thing i have caught was when i was restarting over and over, it say the dp can only push so much? like idk the frames couldnt be handled, but i find this irritating because i have a sapphire graphics card, and a sapphired dp....................... sooo
whats the deal? i can oc my system but i havent because i dont have the software to my desired settings and eyefinity up and about, and i dont have a need to yet
can anyone give me advice??

i will... but your also right i did jump in on 1080p high settings, which one 6950 can usually keep at 60fps 90% of the time on 1 screen... and ultra at about 35-47... so how bout if i just go down to absolute crap.. worse than xbox, and see how that goes and just work my way up til i crash? what is RC11 btw
