Hi guys,

I wasn't sure where to post this thread so i hope here is alright.

Im having trouble using Lexar BootIt to flip the RMB Bit on a flash drive. Up until now i've had an 8GB flashdrive which i have a small partition on which contains the exe file for truecrypt and the rest of the flashdrive is an encrypted volume which i use truecrypt to mount. I partitioned the flashdrive by flipping the RMB bit to make Windows see it as a hard drive rather than removable media, (hence the ability to partition it).

My boss has allowed me to have a 16GB version of the same flashdrive for work, so naturally im swapping it for my 8GB one so i can have the larger one for home use tongue.gif

The only problem is that the BootIt app doesn't seem to be able to flip the RMB bit on this drive even though it is the same manufacturer and model as the other one (Sony Microvault), just a larger size.

Does anyone have any suggestions at all?

Thanks smile.gif
