Agility 3 weird behavior and WEI

Thread Starter
Got this SSD just 2 weeks ago, the Agility 3 90GB at first my WEI score was 7.9 and benchmark with ATTO was 50k flat. Now after 2 weeks I can't seem to get a 7.9 score with WEI, it's stuck at 7.5 and I don't know why last night I ran ATTO again and my read/writes were just below 50k
so I did a firmware update (2.15 to 2.22) and let the computer idle all night long.

Now I'm getting better reads with ATTO even better that my firsts benchmarks from day one, and my WEI score is still stuck at 7.5 does anyone have any idea why?

AHCI is on
IRS installed
SSD is connected to a SATA3 port
OS is configured as it should..hibernation and indexing off etc.

I know WEI scores mean close to nothing, I also know I can 'hack' the scores and edit to whatever I want right now I'm interested in knowing why is the score stuck there even after the firmware update and the fact that is running faster, thanks.

Latest ATTO benchmark

Not sure but here is mine (I have the same drive as you) and I get 7.8.

You are connected to Intel 6Gbps port right?

Because ATTO is a crappy benchmark for SSDs, it uses compressible data, so its kind of a "best case scenario" benchmark.
instead use AS-SSD (i think?) for more real-life numbers.

And like you said, WEI is useless and dumb. Just ignore it if you don't actually see any performance loss.

I know that, but makes me wonder why something that a week ago was running fine is now running slower. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

ATTO isn't a crappy benchmark. It just happens to show best case scenario for SSDs with SandForce controllers. However, AS SSD don't exactly show real-life numbers either. It's more a worst case scenario. Real-world use, actual performance should be somewhere in between the two.
