That depends on the resolution and games you want to play, I'm positive your 2500k @4.5GHz will bottleneck performance in quite a few games.

Fun fact: most people don't have issues with AMD's drivers. Just because you had a bad experience does not mean everyone does.
My experience with Nvidia drivers have always been horrible: 460 SLI got new game-specific issues with each driver set after 258.96 until 285.something when I switched for two 6950s which had way less microstutter at the same performance level, and I have yet to have a single issue with AMD's drivers.
Oh, and my 650M haven't been as cooperative as I'd hoped, it seems a bit random whether the driver will choose the Nvidia GPU or the Intel GPU for a game, and Nvidia's cluster**** of a control panel isn't exactly helping.Edited by Arni90 - 10/6/12 at 9:48pm
