Nope. There are four screws accessed at the base that you remove it takes the 3/8" barb top off and you mount whatever top you have for it and use the screws provided with it or reuse the screws that you removed to get at the original top. wink.gif

Yes, I know that, I mean how do you attach it to the floor of the case for example. I see some pumps with screw holes on the sides but I don't have those.

With my pump it is just sitting there. The way the tubing is set up on my rig, it make the pump say in place very nice. I do not have any kind of problems including vibration. I have used velcro in the past. Probably not the best thing to do but I did. I placed a very small piece on all 4 corners of the pump base. Just dont put it over the middle cuz some of these pumps need to breath and you don't want to overheat them

If your intake to the pump is on top, i.e. you have a 35X or an aftermarket top, and your outlet can basically point towards where the flow is going next, you should be able to just suspend the pump without it touching anything. That way, you have max cooling and max decoupling for silent operation.

OR you can do like I did and just use some left over foam packing to counter any vibration in the pump(s)...





You generally get this stuff with something that has glass in it. i.e. Notebook, Tablets etc. I didn't even remove the paper backing on mine. The weight of the pumps, top and res full of coolant holds it in place quite well and allows airflow from the 200 in the front of my case to blow underneath the pumps to keep them cool. thumb.gif

The bottom base housing has two blind M4 holes. Each can be used to mount to your case, a bracket or onto isolation grommets. This is the original MCP350 design by ITT Laing.

Every DDC series of pump has the two M4 holes in the bottom base ... Look next to the screws that hold the top on. wink.gif



Here's the isolation mounting bracket. Very ideal without the outside mounting flanges. The isolation grommets are like that of HDD drives. This is the best setup to tame the DDC series pumps. thumb.gif
