Is the DDC-1T powerful enough to push water through 120+240 rads? Or 240+240 rads?

Yes. It depends on the amount of restrictions tbh. But I don't see why you shouldn't be able to run through a basic loop and two 240s'. smile.gif

Good to know. Currently I'm running through MCR220QP>Raystorm>Fusion Thermo>res. Planning to add a 120 rad between Raystorm and Fusion Thermo in order to reduce load for that MCR220QP.

Radiators aren't all that restrictive. There are a couple of exceptions but the vast majority aren't really that restrictive.

I'm not sure if Swiftech radiators are restrictive. But I assume they are not tongue.gif
Anyways since this loop will only cover the cpu and mobo, I guess my DDC-1T will do its job well?

My pump is running through dual DDC top, to Full Coverage block > CPU block > GT Stealth II 360 > Res. I have tried using the second pump to see if it would make any difference in temps and it doesn't so it's my emergency pump. Seems to be working just fine when my average temp under full Load is 40c. So you should be fine. thumb.gif

I don't have it on metal , It sits on my home made PSU cover, it did vibrate alot so I put a sponge between it and the sound is less loud but its still the annoying high pitched tone. And what do you mean by decoupled?
By decoupled he simply means not attached to the case or other solid objects/structures. So on a sponge or suspended by tubes would be decoupled.

My two pumps make that high pitched whine noise as well. Sounds kind of like little remote control car motors as the wiz bye. The pump with the full size XSPC Reservoir Top makes slightly less noise than the standard XSPC Top on the pump (no res). I connected the pumps' power adapters to my fan switches (standard on full size Phantom cases rated at 25W/channel x5 channels = 100W), and lowered the voltage to see if it reduced the whine sound. As the power decreased so did the pitch of the sound, but even at low (not off) it was still audible, but not totally eliminated. I'd say at half power the sound was reduced enough not to stand out above the case/radiator fans' noise.

I don't think any pump is completely silent, and given the high pressure/size there's naturally going to be some sound produced. Just wondering like Tom114 if the high pitched whining is normal for DDC pumps? Perhaps the ones in the 5.25 Dual drive bays are suppressed since they're mounted in the tank....?

Any other tips or suggestions?

Don't get me wrong. These DDC-1T's are great performing little pumps though!

Just found this thread...

Crappy photos but here are 2 of the pumps using a XSPC dual pump top in my folding rig.
