Exactly. Airdeano is right. It wont really give you any better temps.

I tried a 212+ stock pwm fan in mine earlier today and it wont run it right either. What was the voltage on those fans? The ones you listed. Go into the corsair hydro club here and on the first page there is a section saying fans for H100. Hit the little google spreadsheet under that and it will tell you some good fans that others have used.

I'll check it out. Thanks.

most peeps go quieter in H100 fans due to the stock fans are LOUD. pounding massive cfm really
wont drop the temps much more over what is there now. maybe 3°-5°?
airdeano

Well having them run a 100% doesn't really bother me. I was under the impression though that 3-5 degrees is quite a big improvement.

I got a 2C drop on my Antec 620 going from the stock antec fan which I heard is better than a Corsair fan, by switching to the SP120's from Corsair. The fans look awesome, extremely well built, and perform awesome! Not too loud too at full blast! I'd get those if I were u. A little expensive, but worth it imo...

Ok so this is what I decided (after finding out that the Ultra Kaze doesn't have a higher static pressure rating than the stock H100 fans), now tell me if this will work in theory. I found multiple fans that have a high static pressure and high cfm. That would clearly be an upgrade over stock (7.7mm H20). These are the fans I found:

Delta AFB1212SH-PWM - 10.92mm H20 113.11 CFM

Delta FFB1212EH-F00 - 12.43 mm H2O 150.33 CFM

Delta FFB1212EHE-F00 - 17.78 mm H2O 190 CFM

Delta AFB1212GHE-CF00 - 27.48 mm H2O 240.96 CFM

1ST PC CORP. PFB1212UHE-F00 - 35.877 mm H2O 252.85 CFM

My plan was to pick one of these that has the best performance to noise ratio (probably going with the FFB1212EHE-F00) and hook them up to a fan controller. That way I could regulate the noise level when the performance wasn't needed. Only problem is all of these fans only connect to a four pin molex connector (it has a 3 pin also but I believe that's only for monitoring). Since most fan controllers only accept 3-pin, I thought that if I got two of these: http://www.cyberguys.com/product-details/?productid=3317 Fan Molex to 3-Pin (4-Pin to 3-Pin Mb) I could connect the molex on the fans to the molex adapter and then the 3-pin to the fan controller. I also found a nice fan controller, this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811997046 , the 1ST PC CORP. FC-FC9B 4 Channel Throttle Control Operation Fan Controller which has 50w Per Channel. So that should be powerful enough.

My only question is will it work?

you are correct they do have a high SP than the OE fans, but spending more money
for little return in cooling isnt fair to you. buying ahigh-end fan controller and fans to
eck out 3° more cooling is mad.

it will work.. report back on the results..

You say little return, and only 3 degrees but that logic seems flawed. The stock Corsair H100 fans move 7.7mm H2O and if I go with 2 of the 1ST PC CORP. PFB1212UHE-F00 they move 35.877 mm H²O each. That's 5x mm H20 more than the stock fans. There's no possible way I will only see a 3 degree decrease in temps. It has to be higher.

I will report back on the results.

How about these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185054 6 decibels quieter but still moves a decent amount of air at 133 CFM (have one of these already for my rear case fan and it's not that bad at all). Would the H100 controller be able to handle two of those?

Thanks for the reply. +rep

Sorry Im getting back to this late. The fan in the youtube vid is in no way related to the performance of the fan linked in OP.

UK3000's are also noisy junk, they dont last very long either.

I think I said it before, but my 3 deltas, ran full blast for 5 years. They are the same ones you linked in the OP. I am still using them after recycling from a server.
