It doesn't have to be written. I always thought that its in the law that they have to pay for the colateral damages if their product goes wrong

I don't think so. You see this a lot in phone cases that are supposed to be damage resistant or waterproof. They all state that if the phone is damaged they will replace the case but aren't responsible for the phone. ie... otterbox, lifeproof.

I'm sure companies do it every once in a while but its probably a courtesy not a rule.

Well my h100 has been running in my system for a little over 4 months, what are the odds that it could leak?

Wow , that really sucks =( i have been using a h50 for 2 years now .. not a single problem what so ever .

Bad luck dude .

Btw : If my h100 leaked all over my gpu , i would be demanding a new gpu . Stand up for yourself mate ? dont let these guys rip you off with a refurbished ssd .

The unit you bought was under warrenty , and its corsairs fault your gpu does not work anymore thanks to their shoddy build quality .

Do something about this mate , i would be putting my foot up their ass's . That is not right , you do not sell a sealed watercooling unit with warrenty that actually isnt properly sealed < --- THIS IS CORSAIRS FAULT .

I appreciate the support, but what else do you suppose I should do? I email them constantly, even the customer service manager, got in touch with various reps on various forums, unintentionally created a huge PR nightmare for them on one of (if not the most popular pc enthusiast forums) which they seem content to just ignore. Short of flying over there and, as you say "putting my foot up their ass" I'm not sure what else I can do.

Wow, I what happened to Corsair? Their customer service used to be awesome, now all I see are bad stories. What happened to Corsair George?!
Anyways, if this guy doesn't get refunded his money & get reimbursed for his video card, I won't purchase anything Corsair again, besides their cases.. (Don't think a case will fail on me).

Good luck OP!

I dont know mate =( that really sucks though ..

Push as much as you can , the thing leaked all over your brand new gtx670 and they offer a measly $150 in return ?

They used to replace all the parts that got damaged from water leaks ? because they are not supposed to leak .

Is their anyone here that could shed some light on what more he could do ?

Did you try cleaning the water off your gfx card ? with alcohol ? it may actually still work hopefully .

If it does , get your money back for the cooler and never deal with them again .

The only other thing he could try is just to directly call them, when it's on the internet (email, forums etc) they can choose to ignore you, whereas it's much harder to not reply on the phone unless they just hang up- but this is just plain rude. Ring them, bypass all the call centre people and get to someone high up. Get direct contact and ring them until you get your money and, if possible, an apology.
This may prove difficult cause youre in Australia - surely corsair have offices in Australia? Does any know?

^This if it was told to each purchaser that they would only cover X amount i think that a lot of them would have been put back on the shelf. The OP should think about if the deal cuts the mustard for him and take it if HE is happy with it. Imho i would be a bit worried because i would have to sell parts to HOPE to get enough to purchase a 670. Bartering/pawning off parts imho is NOT how you should have to deal with RMA's/returns!

Thanx.
