I haven't had a chance to go through the last few pages of posts in detail, but I wanted to get this news out as soon as possible
It appears that a few things happened in the last 24-48hr.
1) I sent another email to Corsair (which I might put up here later) but I essentially asked for a full refund again and brought this thread and some specific comments that their customers had written here, to their attention
2) Someone posted a link on the Corsair Facebook page (thank you to that/those people)
3) PCCG got involved but I haven't heard back form them as to where that ended up
4) CorsairGeorge join the discussion again:thumb:
This morning I got the following reply (names removed for privacy reasons):Hi mrpdean,
.... and I have discussed and reviewed your claim once again and have come up with the final compensation for your Damaged Claim.
We will go ahead and issue full refund for both GPU and CWCH100.
Graphics Card: $489.00
We will issue a Refund Check in the amount of $638.00
I don't know exactly what made them change their mind in the end (probably a combination of everything) but I am so happy now and I can't wait to get my PC up and running again
Thanks to everyone for their ongoing support and to Corsair for coming through in the end
I will update the original post for anyone who stumbles across it.
