Corsair H100 leaked onto my brand new graphics card and motherboard - Page 48

In my opinion there is only one real solution now for Corsair and thats to refund OP the amount of money he paid for his GPU or replace the GPU with one of equal or greater value and then replace his H100, finally you need to make the policy on your closed loop coolers clear very soon.

Thread Starter
Hello everyone,

I haven't had a chance to go through the last few pages of posts in detail, but I wanted to get this news out as soon as possible biggrin.gif

It appears that a few things happened in the last 24-48hr.

1) I sent another email to Corsair (which I might put up here later) but I essentially asked for a full refund again and brought this thread and some specific comments that their customers had written here, to their attention
2) Someone posted a link on the Corsair Facebook page (thank you to that/those people)
3) PCCG got involved but I haven't heard back form them as to where that ended up
4) CorsairGeorge join the discussion again:thumb:

This morning I got the following reply (names removed for privacy reasons):

Hi mrpdean,
.... and I have discussed and reviewed your claim once again and have come up with the final compensation for your Damaged Claim.
We will go ahead and issue full refund for both GPU and CWCH100.
Final Compensation
Graphics Card: $489.00
CWCH100: $149.00
Total: $638.00
We will issue a Refund Check in the amount of $638.00

I don't know exactly what made them change their mind in the end (probably a combination of everything) but I am so happy now and I can't wait to get my PC up and running again applaud.gifwheee.gifthumbsupsmiley.png

Thanks to everyone for their ongoing support and to Corsair for coming through in the end thumb.gif

I will update the original post for anyone who stumbles across it.

Congrats...

And good job to CorsairGeorge for sticking up for the concern in this thread. Honestly, it does make a difference when the company has a rep that has his ear near the people they serve.

That being said... I truly hope that my H100 never leaks... (I've only had it for about a month now...)

I believe this is the most important...as Corsair has stepped upped. It doesn't mean diluting the series of events that got you to the end, as that is equally important.
