I think the Wii U will do well, but this is the worst marketing job that I've ever seen for a new console. It will probably come out in 2 months(we don't even have a release date) and we still have no idea on price or hardware specs, and we barely know of any games that will be available at launch. Personally, from what I've seen so far, I don't see how anyone (outside of diehard Zelda or Mario fans) could be interested in this console.

trust me the Nintendo name sells. Anything they release is guaranteed to at least break even if it doesnt sell super well.

You will see people trampling over people at Walmart for this console on TV during the holidays while your on OCN reading specs about Haswell.

I wasn't denying that it would sell well. But, honestly, what have they done to actually get anyone outside of their normal Nintendo lovers interested in this console?? Nothing. The controller?? I've yet to see anything on it that doesn't look like a gimmicky add on to a normal game....and we are more than likely less than 2 months till launch.

The only reason I'm buying a Wii U in the future is solely because of Mario, Zelda, and possibly homebrew if this ever gets hacked. After I beat those games, it's going to collect dust just like my Wii. It's worth it though because I love those games tongue.gif

I'll be picking one of these up at launch. I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the 64, and I still regret selling it. Can't wait to play all the Zelda and Mario games I've missed.

had all the tree consoles before, xbox 360, ps3 and wii. even though the graphics is awesome in both xbox and ps3, i easily get tired and bored playing games with those two, unlike the wii that even though graphics is not that great i am always having fun with it.

same thing with 3ds and vita, i easily get bored with the vita, unlike with the 3ds
