Hey OCN i need some help here D:

im going to build a new pc soon and cant decide between the

ASUS GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II - $500

OR

ASUS Radeon HD7970 DirectCU II TOP 3GB - $550

i'm currently gaming on a single monitor at 1920x1080 and can't decide if i should go for the 7970 for the extra $50
is it really worth it ?

please help, i really can't decide

At that resolution, either will be a beast. The extra ram won't do much for you until you hit the higher resolutions.

Shop around a little more those prices are high, both should be about a 100 dollars cheaper. I`m partial to the 670 as I have 2 in SLI.

OP get a HD 7950 OC and overclock it further. Both these cards are 900 Mhz cards. the sapphire dual x and gigabyte windforce cards coolers are good.
