ISO: Nice looking SLI bridge connectors for EVGA GTX 580 Hydro Copper 2 cards

I just picked up a 2nd 3GB EVGA GTX 580 Hydro Copper 2 video card and they are working wonderfully.

Now comes the time to make them LOOK as good as they run!

I've poked around on performance-pcs, sidewider, frozencpu, and a few other web sites, but I didn't see anything that would either work, or wasn't just "stock". Maybe OCN can help out.

Are there any nice looking 2-way SLI bridge connectors that don't look like an ugly brown plastic wire or naked PCB that would look good ANY electrically connect my 2 cards?

To me, this is just ugly:

Also, I do like the look of the EK water cooling bridge blocks, but I for the life of me can't seem to find one that works with my 2 cards. EVGA also makes an acceptable block, but I don't see one for the GTX 580.

Any suggestions for a block like this:

While black is "ok", I would totally LOVE a block like that in either a chrome base (to match the EVGA Hydro Copper 2) with a CLEAR lid ... or a copper base with a clear lid (to match my EK Supreme water block).

Sort of like this:

Thanks in advance for any help.

Another day, another bump.

Surely someone is wondering the same thing as me. I really don't want to try to make some sort of 1-off custom Acetal or aluminum cover just to hide the ugly SLI bridge cable.

I have a solid connector that I used a chrome vinyl decal to cover it. It looks wonderful. You could use the reflective auto mirror stuff at the store as well or even aluminum tape....If you like the copper color you can get the longer style and connect it inside out so that it looks plain copper/brown with no lettering

Good suggestions both. I do like the idea of the chrome tape. That would match the fittings.

I was just hoping to not to get into yet another custom project. I have so many unfinished ones as it is. wink.gif

Ok, here is an odd question on SLI Bridge Connectors.

Can you use a SLI Bridge that is built to connect 3 cards together but only connect 2 cards?

I've read one post that said it will work, but I was wondering if anyone has tried such a thing.

If so, I might pick up one of these and fashion a chrome plate on the back to "trick it out". Most likely I'll be going triple-SLI eventually and in the mean time, this would look pretty slick in my case.

I havent but it will connect card to card just the same. GL with that chrome plate idea
