My logitech g9x's right click is malfunctioning so I'm looking for a,replacement. Looking for something that has more buttons than my g9x for mmos but still comfortable enough for competitive play.

I've used Razer for a while with no issues:

I've seen enough of my friend's razer products break to know that its not worth giving that company any money -.- I value the longevity of my hardware, but I do admit razer does have nice looking hardware. I don't mind features and bling, but they shouldn't get in the way of the actual hardware.

I'm actually checking out the logitech g600. However I'm hesitant seeing that you can't right click when you hold down the g-shift apparently. Maybe I'll just use my old mx5500 until there's a revision but I would appreciate more suggestions and alternatives.

Can't right click? Even if you set "G-shift right click" to right click?

You could try the logitech g700 or the corsair m90.

Both mouse have acceleration, both are heavy, both have tons of buttons and are well built. Since you're coming from a G9X you probably dont give a damn about acceleration so it should not be an issue for you,

If you are looking for a mice without acceleration, it's either the g400, the deathadder or a zowie mouse afaik.
