The attack forced the Qatar-based RasGas firm to shut down its website and email systems.

RasGas, one of the world's largest producers of liquid petroleum gas, said production was not hit by the attack.

If there company was not affected by their email systems going down then they're doing pretty damn well, I call BS however.

If they are as big as the post claims then a lot I assume to track orders and deals, I don't know much about business but I imagine email plays a big role in big companies. I may be wrong but it makes sense in my head.

Most companies I've worked with have custom logistics systems and only rely on email for reminders, day to day communication, etc. I think they meant their production computer systems weren't hit by the attack, not so much that the attack might not have caused confusion and lost time.
