Onwave is not available to me but even if it was, 8gb monthly download cap with 8mb/s download speed. Whats the point? 2mb dsl is the best available to me, I have checked out every option available. The quality of broadband has also dropped significantly over the past few years to the point where its completely unusable for online gaming now. Constant disconnects, ping is the 500's to servers only a few hundred miles away. You complain and get told there is no problem. It's a disgrace.

Interesting. From their site ( http://satellite.onwave.co.uk/northern_ireland ) they say "onwave can deliver 18Mb broadband to any home in Northern Ireland. You already qualify, we don't need to do a site survey. Just pick the package you want, call us and we'll get you up and running."

Also, you can get 26GB a month at the high speed (18Mb), and when you reach it, they just lower your speed, they don't cut you off.

Yeah, it's not a nice "unlimited" service, but still, 26GB a month at full speed isn't half bad, especially at 18Mb/sec.

But what ever. Good luck on getting faster speed.
