I'm about to upgrade to an i5. I'll probably do some moderate OCing. Right now I'm using a Dark Night cooling on air. Do you think it's worth it to go with a Corsair contained water cooler? If so, is it worth it to go with the big guns (h100) or are the smaller guys (h40, h60) going to do just as well? As you can see in my profile, I have a HAF so there is room for any of them.

Picked these up for my TRON Legacy theme build. Got the optional light bar upgrade kit(s). Note, for a quad channel package you will need two light bar kits as each covers two sticks. No issues...

I honestly love this cooler, but I think I'm gonna move on to another one soon, it just looks... A bit to bland compared to other flaming red (literally) coolers on the market.

I have a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7850 2Gb GPU that isn't OC'd atm because my 7750 Kuma is bottlenecking it pretty bad.

moderate 4.3-4.5? the H100 is a fine selection. most wanna have a quieter rig
on the performance or balanced selection. so using a fan other than the OE
H100 fans will render the H100 controller useless. i usually suggest the corsair
SP120 performance wired 12-volt. if you'd like quieter you can use the included
fan adapter or wire it 7-volt.
messing with the H50/70/80/100 ive found the dollar vs gain was had by the H100.
all the other were not as well to-do at high clocks (4.5+) on a constant (folding)
load. the H100 with SP120 is a safe solution.

I am very impressed with the new Thermaltake Water2.0 Extreme (240 rad) as it is 38mm thick instead of 25mm, denser fin count, better tubing, stronger pump, and better block design. It will take a bit more to heat up than the H100, which means better temps. I have seen this firsthand as a friend switched from the H100 to the Water2.0 Extreme on a 4.9Ghz 2700K and is seeing about 5-7C better temps under load, and when he replaced the TIM with IC Diamond there was another 2-3C drop. Now, he's running 5Ghz cooler than the H100 would run 4.7, and I am extremely impressed by the unit considering that it's a sealed liquid cooling system.
If I had to go with one, I would not think twice about getting the Thermaltake.
