Alphacool VPP655

Hello!

I originally bough the new alphacool LT-DC ceramic pumps, but they really didnt live up to my expections so i bought an Alphacool VPP655..

I put it together fill the reservior and want to start the pump.. nothing happens..! then I take the pump and pump top apart and try to start the pump outside the pump top, and still nothing..

anyone have similar experience with these D5 pumps?

it just seems too unlucky to get a flawed produvt, then waiting a week for the new one and then that is broken from the start...?!

verify voltage to yellow wire on both sides of the connector as well as the black wire.
should be 12-volts +/-.
the impeller may be in a bind on assembly... dunna know what pump top you are using..

I tried the pump outside the pumptop so it cant really be that.

ill check the wiring though..

the wiring should be correct after what I can see. the red wire on the pump fits with the yellow wire on the PSU and the black wire on the pump fits with the ground connector right next to the red/yellow wire.. :/

So I guess the pump is just bad from my supplier..

did you check the voltage with a volt/ohm (multimeter) meter? not just visually..

yahr im relly glad about it too!

I think I might have swithced around the wires when I sleeved my psu..

Uhh, looks good. what fractal case is that? dont think I have seen one with the rounded corners before.
is that carbon wrap you have on the rad, cpu block and pump cover-thing?

I just filled the loop and in the middle og bleeding it. my plan is to let it bleed for a few hours now, then do some wiring and get the HDDs in and then let the pump run while I sleep.. does that sound like enough time for bleeding and leak-testing?smile.gif
