MCP35X leaking a little

Thread Starter
Hey all,

Just got a new setup with a MCP35X as the pump and I've been running the loop for approx 24 hours outside the case to test for leaks.

It seems like the slightest amount of moisture is coming from the bottom of the pump. It doesn't drip but if you wipe your finger across it you can feel the moisture. I left a glass jug beneath the pump overnight and nothing dripped into it after a day. It seems like the heat from the pump is causing it to evaporate before a drip forms.

Basically I wanted to know if anyone else with this pump has the same experience or if this is a potential defect.

Any help would be appreciated smile.gif

Ah great I guess I'm going to have to get it replaced on warranty and delay my build frown.gif

Easier to swap out a pump than extra parts because of the leak. Good on you for testing outside the case. I never did that, and if I had a leak like you, I would have at least lost my optical drive.
