Does this look good?

CPU Block: XSPC RayStorm CPU Intel 775/1366/1156/1155/2011 - €60.00
Rad: Black Ice GT Stealth - 240 - €40.00
Res: XSPC Laing DDC Acrylic Reservoir - €25.00
Pump: Bmavericks DDC pump
Fittings: 6x 13MM (1/2) Compressionfittings Gripz Style - G1/4 Black Series - €4.00
Tubing: 7ft of Durelene tubing Is 7ft enough for cpu only? - $4.83 + almost 20$ shipping

I will be running it with distilled water and probably mayhems blue dye. Do I need Biocide/Ptnuke or a killcoil? If so, what would you recommend.

Also, If anyone can recommend tubing that will not cloud as much, please tell because durelene costs alot to import.

It is a good idea to run some biocide..since your going with Mayhems dye just get some of HIS Biocide as well.. Mayhem has done alot of testing with Clear tubing http://www.overclock.net/t/1286896/mayhems-users-club/160#post_17984939 .. I am not sure what you have local but I have also seen this http://www.overclock.net/t/1286896/mayhems-users-club/210#post_18036713 But Durelene Does seem to be the Hot choice as of Now to stay clear. I would suggest a thicker Rad but I am not sure how much room you have in that Corsair Carbide.. with the RAD you have Choosen the 30mm thickness will probably give you the option of running push/pull fans with it I am guessing.. Your parts will work Regardless of any changes though.. Good CPU block and pump..

I am a bit dissapointed in my case. There is only space for a 30mm rad and only place for fans in pull in the top. Next time I will pay more for a case with more space.

i personally am using the corsair 500R for WC and dissapointingly this case only has space for a thin 240 rad. a thick one will mount, but only in a pull config, and push/pull is possible only with 25mm thick fans and thin rad.

"real" WC (eg: 360 rad, thick rads, etc) is only really possible with a full tower, so i'll probably be buying a larger case soon.

BUT that does not mean you shouldnt WC! even with a thin 240 rad, my loop keeps my 3930K at ~75C full load in prime 95 at my current overclock (and SNB-E is known as being hot)

This case is not even half a year old yet so I want to see what I can do with it. If its really limiting my goals I will look for other cases but I can live with a thinner rad. From what i've read its not a bad radiator at all.
When I bought the case I was choosing between the 600T and this one but I went for the cheaper option. I regret my decision. rolleyes.gif

black ice stealth GT is a good radiator. i use the same one.

i also would not use dye. it can cause a world or problems. use plain distilled water and pt nuke. if you really want color, get tubing that has been colored. i use primochill white tubing. also buy it from frozencpu. cheaper.

Is your tubing Leaching Plasticiser? My primochill black is horrible... He is in the Netherlands so the UK would be better to order from maybe? Not sure. That site he linked has Masterkleer
