I found a couple articles with instructions to adjust the head parking timeout for the greens, I'm assuming those are still viable?

Here the wd red 3tb costs as much the wd caviar black 2tb...

I've seen 3TB Reds for as low as $169.99 new - not bad. Only $20 above Green pricing.

That said, my NAS is currently running all Greens. Reds were not available when I populated it.
