Anyone who has owned the Mamba and Deathadder!

Hey if this applies to anyone im just in the market for a new mouse and wanna ask a few questions!
I currently have the deathadder and this thing is a champ, my only real gripe i have about it is the weight, would prefer a little heaver (well i know this now after having it for 2 years).
So i was thinking that the mamba would be a little heavier because of the battery pack if that makes sense, because otherwise i would think they are pretty similar in size and shape.
what are your thoughts on it, and also if u have the mamba, do you have tracking issues when in wireless mode?

thanks guys!

yes , the mamba is heavier smile.gif it feels more expensive , and it is , its more sturdy , not cluncky plasticky like the DA , which i can crush with my hand if i want to

but about the wireless thing , ive never had problems with it , but when i game , i put the cable just in case lol

in the end , its a really good mouse , and its an upgrade from a DA to a Mamba , but u should check out the competition and see , and if at the end , u dont want to switch , get some little weight cilinders and put them inside the DA

PTE is accurate as hell, but has too many issues in terms of general tracking. Lacks consistency per surface basis.

Had both for awhile, the Mamba is utter garbage. Mamba all show no go.

Deathadder is leagues ahead of the Mamba.

This is not true anymore. The wireless technologies have really evolved since the last decade.

The only downside is that there are too few wireless mouse out there and they tend to be more ''high end'', thus follow the CPI race instead of focusing on good tracking.

I think it's still true. I have yet to see a GOOD mouse that is wireless. Logitech is literally the only company that I know that has decent wireless mice. They aren't the gaming types, either.
