Black Mesa tests my CPU differently. It crashes few times until I BSOD. I went to take a look at event viewer and I got dozen WHEA 19 errors. I haven't seen WHEA 19 in months. I just bumped up voltage a bit and it's good so far. It's strange that I never got a problem when playing a bunch of other games and using Sony Vegas.

Dumb? I love it! I really hate boring jumping mechanics, crouch jumping makes jumping more interesting to me. I grew up with HL1 and 2 though, so go figure.

I played HL 2 and the episodes a couple times. Best game ever! Hell I even bought them because they are awesome! I considered playing HL but since this "mod" was on its way, I never considered even touching it due to its graphics.

Well I beat it, definitely not the full HL1 campaign, about 80% of it. Pretty sure they are going to finish it though.

I do hate crouch jumping, you have to do it so much towards the end of the game. The game still shows it's age due to it's control mechanics. I kept getting stuck on ladders and on objects. There was also a section of the game that crashed for me every 2-3 minutes or so, after I got by it the crashing stopped. Still quite a bit better than the original.

I haven't had any crashes yet and only 1 real bug. I was reloading my SMG and it reloaded, auto-fired an entire magazine, and reloaded again all from just hitting "R" to reload. All in all this is a great mod. Most people confused on how to jump probably just never played any HL/ source games before. It would be kind of hard to figure out if you're just encountering it for the 1st time.
