Looking at Watercooling

Thread Starter
im slowly going to buy the parts for water cooling. i think i have found the blocks etc. just need a bit of help with a few bits

this is my theoretical shopping list so far

CPU Block
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/cpu-blocks/ek-supremacy-acetal.html

GPU Block x2 (i have heard rumours that the reference GTX460 full plate covers my GPU well but not sure)
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/universal-vga-blocks/ek-vga-supreme-hf-bridge-edition-acetal.html

GPU Bridge
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-connection-parts/ek-fc-bridge-dual-serial-csq.html

Pump
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/pumps-and-accessories/pumps/ek-dcp-4-0-12v-dc-pump.html

Res
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/reservoirs-and-acc/reservoirs/ek-bay-spin-reservoir-plexi-csq.html

Rad
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-coolstream-rad-xt-240.html

as mentioned in the questions below, if i have one rad im going to have it fittted in bottom with fans in push pull config, if i have both the bottom will stay push pull an the top will simply be push unless i can fit a pull system aswel

now for the questions wink.gif

1. Will the 1x240 rad be enough to cool the system, i was thinking if not th eonly other option i have is mounting a slim 240 in the top of my case and a 240 in the bottom of my case (id rather not do any modding to my case)

2. i sorta cam unstuck choosing the size of piping id need, id rather go for easiness to install (as this is my first water cool build) but i still want it to look good smile.gif

3. im guessing the pump goes into the CPU fan port on the mobo an is controlled by there

4. are the components above actually going to work together smile.gif

5. what are peoples reccomendations on coolants?

6. with me fitting universal waterblocks to my gpus any recomenddations on adhesives an heatsinks for my GPU ram etc ...

also seen as tho my mobo cant seem to find 6 fans using a pwm spliiter 3 of each port im clearly going to need a decent fan controller i have seen a few but ill jump that bridge when i get to it!

again thanks for everyones help an crtisicm is very welcome smile.gif id rather be told im about to make a balls up to stop me makinmg it smile.gif

thats what the inside of my case looks like ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
i have intentions of finding some solution to sort my PCI-E power out when i install water cooling

You need a 360 rad not 240.
XSPC raystorm with a RX360 rad is a great kit,
Then all you would need is two gpu blocks,4 bardbs or compression fittings, then some extra tubing. If you are going to spend money on water cooling. get a case that is best suited for it and it will help out greatly
