Frozen BOOT

Thread Starter
Hi, i have BIG problem. It takes a long time I do not know what it is.

When booting the PC randomly freezes on the screen where the flashing white dash in the top left. (Sometimes it is just a black screen.)

Now describe everything I've tried:

1) NEW HDD now there is a WD Velociraptor
2)I had overclocked PC BIOS so I tried to set it back
3) I change the SATA cable and G6
4) I HDD connect from the SATA 6Gb sata to 3GB
5) I have a new graphics but I did not buy this because...
6) Last version BIOS
7) I reinstalled Windows several times ( no it's not wrong MBR - You can fix it several times and it's just as useless)
8) All the drivers installed on board (SATA,Chipset...)
9) Memtest 86+ running 8Hours no errors.

The board has control diodes if an error occurred should stay lit. (Everything looks ok... no diods stay ligthting)

PC when running works just fine!!

I have a crazy idea (desperate). Not interfere with the boot somehow my sound card?

Can you direct me what it could be?

my BIOS set: http://www.overclock.net/t/1259958/checking-my-bios-settings#post_17289404 (BUT I had him in default setting)

THX!

Build:

Asus Sabertooth P67 rev 3.0
Intel i7 2600k
PSU: Enermax Revolution 920W
HDD: WD Velociraptor
Geforce GTX 680 2GB
Soundblaster X-fi fatality

Have you tried to downgrade the BIOS to the release version?

If it still behaves that way, I'm inclined towards thinking there's a problem with your SATA controllers, hence the motherboard.

Could you check if it boots properly from an USB LiveCD, for example?

Set it to 1st option and force it to boot repeatedly.

NO,
The truth is that I'm a moron. I dont know 100% but i think before I updated the BIOS, everything worked fine. (We are not sure that this problem has dragged i not remember)
(Mainly that my colleague says: Do NOT upgrade the BIOS if everything is working and you do not need it for a new device doh.gif )

1) I do not know what version of BIOS I had to work fine...
2) Can I reinstall the BIOS from a higher version to a lower version? ( I Quite scared that crash BIOS sadsmiley.gif )

Could you check if it boots properly from an USB LiveCD, for example? - What do you think? (BOOT from CD correctly - Yet, I installed several windows)
