Hi,
My rig started to freeze for a second randomly during normal use and gaming. I have no idea what can be causing the problem everything run fine until today. I have this PC since 2 weeks and I am not running any overclocks right now.

What hard drive you do have? Try running a scan for errors.
Also, set your BIOS to default for the motherboard.
Download all the latest drivers for your motherboard. (Such as audio, chipset INF, USB controllors, Ethernet controllors and so on). You can find all this on the manufactor website for your motherboard.
Then run this,

This is for your chipset drivers here.

I would also check "msconfig" start up tab and see what all is running when your pc starts. Also give MBAM and let it scan. Thanks

After the clean boot the issue is gone. Is there any way to determine what program is causing the problem?
