When I open a thread it loads Page 2, not Page 1.

    I clicked on a thread, expecting to see the first page before replying, and it loaded page 2.

  • Are you able to reproduce this problem consistently?
    Sometimes.

  • What steps did you take to reproduce this problem?
    Click on a thread in the live feed.

  • What action did you expect to occur when this bug appeared?
    The thread loads on page 1.

  • Any additional information that will help us diagnose the issue:
    I have 20posts/page.

  • Browser, active browser addons, and operating system:
    FF Nightly, but this is server side.

  • URL where the issue occurs:
    Any livefeed thread.

I assume by live feed you are talking about the latest discussions box
If so the system will take you to the first unread post.

When you load/view a thread the system doesn't know how many post you have read, only which page was last loaded.
Example
A thread has 3 pages when you first view it the system assumes you have read all of page 1 so if you go back and view it again you will be put on to page 2 and the same again if you view it again you will be put on page 3 thread.
