Look up GTX 660M benchmarks, that should give you an idea of what kind of performance to expect.

Oh, of course, the improvement was noticeable, but it wasn't the OMGJESUS***LOOKMYFPS-thing. I think I gained 20 fps everywhere. my GTX260 was running at nearly 900Mhz, though. Was competing a stock GTX460 on openGL :>
Not sure how my 6 cores could bottleneck me, but anyway ^_^ I needed a new GPU and fast when I bought the GTX560. Not like I regret it. But I already aim for a 670+

you are strange. the trend these days is for thin and light electronics and u want big cards.
besides if ur 670 is small it means you can use a ITX case instead of a full tower for certain other cards (notably AMD, 6990, 5970 rolleyes.gif

Except most mini ITX cases support fairly long graphics cards.

Right but the performance level is said to be around the GTX550ti (384 CUDA cores, 5GHz GDDR5 memory? If those are Fermi cores, that's a bandwidth strapped GTX560ti right there) so, being honest, this is probably going to be better than the HD7750 that has way slower memory clocks and doesn't seem to grab all that much performance: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/HD_7750/1.html

But,

1. I'm not holding my breath on a x50 series card being anything to write about

2. I'm not jumping to conclusions based on a shoddy leak.

They're Kepler cores

550 Ti was bit faster in Metro, and in BF3.

I did some calculation and it would have 76 W at peak consumption, 1/6 of that from memories. When cards have 60-70 W power consumption, an additional connector, even if not needed, relieves stress from your MB. I would prefer to have a card with additional power connector, over a card that consumes 75 W and don't have additional power connector.

Not saying they shouldn't have put the connector there. I'm saying the power consumption can be inferred to be higher because of its presence.

GTX 550 Ti is faster than HD7750
http://tpucdn.com/reviews/ASUS/HD_7750/images/perfrel_1920.gif

Newer drivers + the 7750-900 clock bump have put the 7750 above the 550 Ti by a sizable margin
