Whining noise with the SP120.

Thread Starter
Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. My SP120s I have on my H50 make this extremely annoying noise when at full RPMs. This is the noise it makes. The ring on the fan are completely on, the fan is not touching it. Right now I think I have faulty fans, but I would like some others intake before I RMA them.

Are those the SP120 quiet edition or the high performance edition? If it is the high performance edition, I think that is the way they are supposed to sound, the reviews I have seen have said the SP120 high performance isn't very quiet.

my sp120 perfs nosie is like the OE H80/100 fans lots of wind/air noise more so than
electrical coil whine or bearing shake. knock 'em down to 7-volt and close to quiet
edition, but like the quiet edition, air-flow is very low...
