New Mouse Time

Thread Starter
Hello Guys

The day has come were my mouse has died, so time to order a new one today wink.gif

So far im stuck between G9x , Naos 5000 or the 3200 (heard 3200 has a better sensor), and the Steelseries Sensei Raw. Also had a look at Zowie but i dont think their mice look great (looks wise of course)

I am a claw-palm grip hybrid, I am also a Graphic & Web Designer who loves to play FPS when not working smile.gif

I am willing to pay whatever it takes to get my perfect mouse smile.gif

Thanks, Luke.

Have you checked the logitech website, or the roccat website.

You are right about the sensor - G9x, Naos 5000 and Sensei Raw both have the Avago 9500 which has a tiny bit of random positive/negative acceleration at different movement speed (up to 5%).

The sensor that Naos 3200 uses, as well as those used by many - DeathAdder, Spawn, Savu, G400 - do not have acceleration issue, and tracks perfectly well up to 1600/1800DPI in most models. Though if you need higher DPI, mice with Avago 9500/9800 sensors are worth considering.

You said you claw/palm. G9x is mostly a claw mouse and its shape seems not made for palm grip. Those suggested by you (other than G9x), DeathAdder and G400 should fit most claw/palm grips.

What mousepad do you use?

I usually work at 3200 DPI and i have a roccat sota and a SS Qck+

Naos 3200 "3200" DPI is interpolated or in laymans terms "faked". It's only a 1600 DPI mouse.

I would say go with the mionix naos 5000, I LOVE mine and with the right settings your mouse feels like its a part of your hand. lmao.

Would you consider the Zowie A.M? Depending or your hand size, you might be able to palm grip a C.M. Spawn.

I have small to medium hands so my hands are SO COMFORTABLE on the mouse. LOVE LOVE LOVE the soft touch coating on it too, prevents sweating.

Concerning the NAOS 5000 (or 3200) shape: If you are a high sens player who likes palm grip this should be the best possible mouse for you. I loved the shape of it, but for my low sensitivity the sensor was freaking me out with how bad it was (in the 5000 version, never tried the 3200)
