Is this mouse any good? The shape looks very interesting to me.

YES! Let's see, I bought this a few months before MW2 came out, I still have it today and the light is still going like it was day 1, I run at 4k dpi w/o problems and it is super smooth, I made the mistake of not using a mouse pad on a rough desk and after 6 months of that I see only a few hairline scratches that I can buff out.

By far the best mouse I have ever owned. I guess I didn't need that 1 year 60 dollar warranty mad.gif

Can anyone tell me if the lachesis 5600 suffers with the z axis issue?

Also is this mouse suited for palm grip?

IMO yes it is. From what I know the 5600 is the exact same as the 4k just higher dpi

I have a lachesis. It's ok, def a claw mouse. The only problem I really had with it is when I would assign a double click to the middle mouse button it would triple click instead and if I double clicked a folder that third click would select any file in that folder and I'd end up copying when the mouse would jitter. That was pretty annoying but I used it more for desktop and didn't see it as very good for gaming.
