Alright all my fellow OCNers, it is time for me to get a new mouse. I know there are tons of threads on this topic but sifting through them all I am left still as confused as I was in the begining, so please bare with me.

I am currently using a wireless Logitech mouse and frankly I'm tired of the constant battery changes and the delay you get with a wireless mouse trying to play an fps. I have no preference in terms prediction, and prefer little to no acceleration. I am in between a palm grip and finger grip with decent sized hands. I'm 6'3" if that helps. I am limited to microcenter and a budget preferably right around the $60-$65 range. Which of the following mice would you suggest I get? Also, is there a difference between a laser mouse and optical? Which I'd better and More precise?

Going quickly through the list, Abyssus, Deathadder, G400 and Spawn are the mice with least issue and no acceleration. They all use a similar Avago optical sensor that gives good tracking up to 1600DPI (the more picky people say 800DPI, at least for G400)

There are two main types of laser sensors in gaming mice, Avago 9500/9800 and Philip Twin-Eye. Avago 9500/9800 has acceleration while PTE has z-axis issue. Most other mice in your link use either of these two sensors (a sign is that their DPI is 5000 or more).

Now are all the mice in that link solid choices for under $60? Or is there one of two that stand out more than the others? Will laser mice perform better than optical? Also, one thing I forgot to add to the above post. I do need at least the two side buttons .

looking through newegg, micro center and frys I have narrowed it down to 3 possibilitie.

The Razer Deathadder 3.5g $46.00 with newegg price match
The Roccat Kova+ $49.99
The corsair 60 $49.99 with newegg price match

Between price and styling those are the ones that appeal to me the most. which of those would it be?

ok well, i went ahead and stopped by my microcenter and tried all the mice out. The Corsair M60 was somewhat uncomfortable to hold and to use with my hybrid palm/finger grip. Between the other two that were left the Razer Death Adder was much more conmfortable. So it took the win and I picked it up along with a new mousepad. Thanks for that help!

The poll may have been unecessary, so many of us have death adders and love them. Only 2 mice I would use are the DA and the Logitech G400 personally (for shooters). When I am in a shooter dry spell the choices expand massively though haha.
