I did a mod to the cooling of the VRM on the JW-780UVD-AM2+.
This is a normal cooling solution:

And this is mine:

How did i do ?
It keeps an athlon 5000+ (65nm) at 3.120Ghz @ 1.480 V. During the summer, the VRM got too hot and the system was unstable. Now it cant go up more than 60 C. The cpu cooler is Freezer 13 (non pro version).

From that photo it looks nice, got a closeup of that heatsink?

By the way, the new temps rock compared to a thermal shutdown biggrin.gif

well, i have put one of these

here with Silicon Thermal Paste -30 ; +300 C (non conductive)

I havent removed the stock cooler, but sort of extended it.
And put he stock cpu cooler's fan on it.
