My interest comes in cycles. It comes and goes. I have been upgrading every other Christmas for the past 7 years. It also depends on what games and cool hardware is coming out. It seems to have been in a rut lately. Until borderlands 2 game out. Since borderlands 2 game out I have ordered A Korean IPS, and a 7970. Now this coming Christmas I plan on upgrading to a new mobo/ cpu.

I'll take a guess and blame it on Google themselves. Google search becomes more effective every year, people find quicker what they're looking for, number of searches decline.
