This is why I never play bf3. The need to balance everything makes the game not fun and crap.

Heli last time I played in (January?) were very undepowered and got shot down very easily , I can't imagine what not having flares is like. Helis were my favorite part of bf2 and now they are completely ruined in bf3.

I don't really care 'cause I don't play this game anymore , just saying.

but I'm not asking to be bored. Farmville bores me.

I get that clicking a mouse will never recoil like a real rifle. But in the game environment, a .50 cal should do more damage than a .22. And there should also be more recoil. I expect the devs to spend some time researching this crap to get the guns somewhat close to realistic, at least relative to one another. Instead they wait to see player feedback on what gun is OP.

Why do I expect it? Because it's 'Battlefield'. If they had called it Backwardsfield, then I would expect to see jets floating after the pilot climbs out and free falls to the ground.

BTW, why is there not an ejection seat?

So much disingenuous nonsence about netcode. To state that other fps don't have banana corner bullets and loading a whole clip only to be shot with a single shot is something that happens in EVERY FPS. Maybe some more than others, but it does happen in every game. Which is why serious gaming can only be done on a Lan.

Oh and for the record, CS was miles better before netcode was added. (pre beta 5.2 if memory serves)

Attended many "I" events back in the day, were so called L33t online players attended, only to get their proverbial kicked by a supposed lesser player.

To be completely honest, the Alpha version of the game was by far the best, and it's only gone down hill since. Alpha used server sided hit detection, and did not have that silly blue tint that they started implementing since Beta.
Gun mechanics, balance, and etc were fine when the game came out. Really did not need change, the current balancing system for guns is a joke.

Even the BETA had better "balance" to it. My trusty SCAR-H hasn't been the same since mad.gif
