OCZGameXstream 700w OR PCP&P 610w???

OCZ GameXstream 700wPC

or

Power & Cooling Silencer 610

I was going to go with the PCP&P PSU until I read somewhere that it had fairly short cables, and my PSU is going to be bottom mounted so I don't know if it will reach the top of the motherboard. I've heard that both manufacturers are great. The case I will be using is an Antec p180b. The prices are pretty close, I just want to know if anyone has any experience with either in a bottom PSU rig and have had any issues.

Thanks for anything

The GameXStream is identical to the FSP Epsilon in most aspects (not 100% about cable length though). My FSP fits easily in the P180, and the cables are plenty long.

I am not sure how long the cables of the Silencer are though

The ends of the GameXStream are over 5ft long, almost too long.

+1 OCZ

ZZF has them priced nicely and OCZ has $25 rebate right now on the 700w.

Call PCP&C and they'll custom made one for your with longer cables. The Silencer 610W is a much better buy than the OCZ in every way.

Do you know how much more that would cost and estimated time to make? On one newegg customer review, a guy with the same case I am getting said he had to add 6 inches of wire himself to get it to reach... and I am way to afraid of doing something like that myself.

Edit: Maybe the PCP&P is better, but is it the 50 or so dollar difference better (when you use the OCZ rebate) ?

Edit2: After searching I can't find the post where the guy said he had to lengthen the wires, but I swear I'm not making all of this up. I know I read somewhere that people with bottom mounted PSU's might have trouble...

Thank you but this new rig I am building will eventually evolve and get much more power hungry and I would rather start out with a PSU that would last me a long time.

The latest nvidia under full load took something like 300+w on some review I read, might have been hothardware.com. If i see it again ill add the link.

But thanks again
