LG Flatron E2240

Hello.

I'm having a strange problem with a new monitor - LG Flatron E2240.

If you record a screen with a camera, it's gonna be all flashy, I mean, there are going to be lines running up and down and lots of noise. Well, my monitor is like that but just a lot less. While using it for internet you can barely see it only if you concentrate on a dark spot of the screen. But while gaming - that's a lot. Well, not that much, but it's annoying. I tried with different GPUs (both Nvidia tho), I tried with different cables, but it's still the same. And I think, it may be some of the settings I use or something, but I don't know. Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

I'm no expert, but this sounds like an FPS issue. Your camera is recording at 24-30fps, and while gaming you get at least 60+fps. And your camera can not keep up with that.
Why are you recording your screen with a camera?

No, no, no. I'm sorry.

I am NOT recording my screen with a camera. It looks like if I am. It's just my screen gets lines going from up to down and it has noise. I can't explain it good, I'm sorry, but I rly hope you can understand me. frown.gif

Oh, so the screen is actually looking like that? Sorry for the misunderstanding mate. I understand your problem now, but I'm afraid I haven't got the foggiest to what is causing it thinking.gif Is the screen new and / or have you had issues with it before? My googling went to no avail.

Yes, it is new. It was firstly for my father's PC for his birthday but then mine broke and I took it as he doesn't use it anyways. Firstly I never saw that. Then I played GTA 4 on my old video card and I saw it. But it was barely visible. Now with the new one I can clearly see it while gaming. And if I take a closer look to a darker part of the monitor I can see the dots (noise).

Since it's new I'd probably go through with an RMA. You may also opt for waiting on a more constructive response since I haven't got any suggestions :/
