According to this benchmark the score of the integrated GPU alone should be around P1500. Physics score stayed about the same.

According to the benchmarks i've seen 6670 + A10 gets nearly as many points as the 7750.

Interesting smile.gif big thanks smile.gif and still cant decide on what gpu should i choose for mine build biggrin.gif

Yeah, the PSU on the ISK is indeed weird. It has output ratings for each rail, as if they were independent.

The mini-box picoPSUs have a different rating and behavior, that's why my 120-WI-25 can easily power the whole system.

The 12V rail is capable of outputting 72W constant without a hitch, and up to 96W peak (if you use forced ventilation, it can output peak power constantly). The 5V is rated 30W max and the 3.3 is rated 20W max.

Hexus reviewed the A10-5700 at stock settings on a full ATX A85X based board and marked 76W playing Batman Arkham City.

If you take that I've undervolted my APU from stock 1.225V to 1.15V, that should lower the power draw at least 5-6W under load (and it will likely go below that still). Now, considering that I use an A75, with no extra USB3 controller, less SATA ports, and a quasi-MITX form factor, that lowers power consumption even further, I dare say into the 65W realm, or probably below that.

Add there the 10W from the screen, and the 3W from the HDD, and I'm right below 80W max power consumption.

And all this is not taking into account that I've disabled Turbo, APM is enabled, and the memory is undervolted (even if I've tightened timings to their absolute maximum).

Im not sure about Crossfiring, I was getting worse FPS when I was crossfiring than just running on the 6670 alone in blackops 2.

Some games don't properly utilize it. I have the same situation on Batman:Arkham City. However in games like Sleeping Dogs the difference is noticeable.

currently GPU is clocked at 1013mhz but scores arnt really improving from stock, im guessing its starved of ram

My 5800k definitely saw a nice 3dmark score boost from OC'ing the GPU. My memory is at 2133, I would think you could still get nice scaling with 1866. At 900mhz, the gpu score increased about 150pts in 3dmark11, at 1000mhz it jumped about 75pts beyond that...so you start to get diminishing returns. I had to use amd overdrive to OC the gpu because the bios for my MSI a75 board cant bypass the power throttling for the GPU (basically if I set anything besides "auto" for the GPU multiplier, the voltage throttles down to .899...no matter what I have set for the NB voltage). I dont know maybe AMD Overdrive could help you. I would prefer not to use it if the bios could control the gpu properly...but for now Im glad to have the additional FPS in games (it is noticable).

I was on the virge of grabbing a 6670 discrete card a couple days ago, the witcher 2 is the only game that I have that isnt smooth at 1920x1200. But its hard to predict which games will benefit, and then I thought...maybe it would be better investment to hold off and save my money for the next APU iteration from AMD, after all I am very satisfied with the 7660d gpu in all other games, including Skyrim (yup 1920x1200 high setting, no AA 40fps good good)....although I must say the 3dmark scores I saw recently posted here for the dual graphics setup impressed me especially at stock speeds.

This is my thought too. It's a great upgrade path; you get to upgrade the CPU and GPU to the latest generation in one swoop, for $100. Sounds good to me smile.gif
