Hard to say, but Llano => Trinity was both a CPU core jump (Stars => Piledriver) and a GFX jump (6-series to 7-series). Richland, as best I can discern, is "Trinity 2.0", so still a Piledriver core and still 32nm. Kaveri will be a new CPU core and presumably new GFX core.

what does "Trinity 2.0" mean.... what can we expect then?? you don't think an upgrade is going to be worth it...

You mean Radeon 2.0? 40% graphics performance over Trinity performance.

Aion Online being choppy on the A10, overclocked?? Isn't that strange?

I didn't know the game at all, but went on youtube to check the graphics, and they look the same as with all similar MMO RPGs. Can someone post & verify that the A10 can handle the "League of Legends" game? I really think it can, but just to make sure. Just like I also think it'll be able to handle "watchdogs" but that hasn't been released yet! (I've been checking everywhere online, and it looks that this particular game uses the assassin's creed gfx engine)

Did anybody get the Zotac A75-ITX Wifi B (FM2)? Can't find any review for it online!

Also is there a guide here on this APU platform overclocking, so that I do not bother this thread with my questions?

Also, as for Richlands shipping this early I highly doubt it. I was reading a softpedia news article the other day, and it pointed the release date at around June 2013

Yep, June looks like the date. I suspect a lot of desktop APU owners will be happy if a Richland OC gets stability at 5GHz/2400MHz, giving a real performance hike in Turbo, especially if Kaveri is less than 12 months away. The really big news is FM2 longevity - no more need for a second build to try out a new chip.

I'm pretty excited. Richland isn't a huge leap forward, but it's supposed to be about 40% graphics increase (Some have speculated it's actually a lot less) but I thought Richland was going to be 28nm and have an ARM core built in for HSA, but apparently not. The good thing is that Kaveri is coming out this year smile.gif YES HSA, Steamroller cores!!!!

I'll be happy if the new chip supports DDR3-2400 out of the box. That alone means a 30% performance improvement in graphics over 1866 biggrin.gif

OK so now my question fits perfectly: Suppose "Richland" supports DDR3-2400 natively. Will the current FM2 motherboards (think Zotac) that advertise a max of DDR3-1866 work with the new memory (bus?) frequency?
