Should I upgrade my psu?

This is my current build

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
Geforce GTX 570
Intel Quad Core 2 Duo Q9550 ocd to 3.8ghz

My current psu is:

I've played several games fine such as, skyrim in lowered settings, mass effect 3, etc. with good fps, but with some games I'm getting lower fps. I used a psu calculator and it says that I need 425-475 watts for my specs. What I am wondering is will I see an improvement in games if I upgrade my psu?

I would definitely upgrade this PSU. Considering you are using a pretty meaty GPU and your overclocking too, I think you will gain much more stability and performance with a new PSU.

Still wouldn't be any need to go huge though, a 500w-600w should cover this nicely, 600w should even give you a bit of headroom for future upgrades!

A 500-600 Watt psu should be more than enough
