Sorry i do have a lot of patience. I sent the first email early last week (with this problem). The first problem i had, they responded within a hour or two. I thought it fantastic. And on and on. They contacted me within a short time, every time. They even sorted out the RMA.for pickup which i thought was great this was dungermann@evga.com he was fantastic.
But now nothing.Nothing at all.

EVGA loses one customer and gains another 5 or so. No big deal. I'm a new EVGA customer and am happy with my purchase.

Not sure if you may have heard of it Seasonic.1000 psu. Probably not the best but does the job. lol

Not sure if serious? I Can guarantee that you have gone to the shops to get the groceries and had something go wrong there, like your milk is slightly curdled, or your bread slightly mouldy. It is the exact same process as this, getting a refund for a faulty product (a product which can be faulty like any other) and returning it. The process is just longer because it's more than likely you didn't buy it locally, and that it's significantly more expensive than a loaf of bread. Just be patient, i can guarantee a response sooner or later.

Also what brand is the PSU and ALL of your components, there's a lot more to a computer than the RAM and GPU...

[EDIT] Posted JUST before me thumb.gif Well the rest of the components could be useful, except Seasonic ones generally aren't that bad.

[EDIT] Oh, it looks like the PCB has just been burnt a bit by the soldering process, it's generally not a big deal with no major bad results by the look of it, it should work perfectly fine, Drivers i'd assume are done, and i'll also assume that the PSU is hooked up right.

Why did you buy a 1000 watt PSU for 2 cards? For 2 480s, you need an 850 watt AFAIK.

Keep in mind today is a holiday in the U.S. and that EVGA is located in California, so if you sent those emails today, you need to remember that the guys you sent the emails to are people too with lives and families that have precedence over work.

If you sent them the last emails before friday, well then I would agree that is indeed a problem, and you have a right to be angry

Pretty sure that outside of worst case scenario, the Seasonic X750 would run a pair of 480s. It laughs at folding on overclocked 470 and a power hungry Thuban.

This. You should contact them, mistake's can happen from any manufacture. What make's EVGA worth the time and money is their customer support, call them after the holiday and tell them what bother's you... although it sounds like mountains out of mole hills to me...
