Replacing RAM/PCI-e clips on ASUS Rampage Series Motherboards?

I have a few cracked RAM clips on my R3: Black Edition. Luckily, they're the clips on the bottom that don't move. I also have an R3E that has intact RAM clips and are the same color.

Is there any way I can swap them out for the ones in good condition?

Thanks!

Any thoughts?

Can anyone please comment on this? It's the bottom RAM clip, the one that doesn't move. I have a perfectly good R3E here I could take the clips from and replace them with but I can't figure out how to remove them. Are they just glued on?

Any help would be really great. redface.gif

Mind posting a pic or two?

wouldn't you have to desolder it and resolder. headscratch.gif
but pictures would help as well.

I don't think so. Its just the white clip on the bottom. Its plastic and doesn't move. I guess nobody has dealt with this before? I'd paint it if I could but it would be easier to replace it.

Help please. frown.gif

I don't think they sell them. I think only ASUS would be able to replace them or send you new parts for replacement.

Well the thing is, I own a Rampage III Extreme which uses the exact same clips as the Rampge III: Black Edition that I also own. If the clips are removable or if anyone knows a way, I can just take them from my RIIIE and put them on my RIIIBE.

Here's a picture:
