How many of you guys here have a 30" LCD monitor? That review is a waste of time for people to begin with. Best evaluation would be to compare to DX10 cards against each other, one from nVidia and one from ATI, so till then, I may consider searching in Anand's webpage.
how many of the guys here have 2 8800GTXs and a Kentsfield? I know if I put that kind of money into my system, I'd be getting a monitor worth using with it, like the Dell or Apple 30" LCD, both of which run 2560 x 1600.

There's a couple of people here with 7900GTXs in SLI, yet, they have a 19" LCD.

Then they should not have gotten the second 7900

Even my Crossfire on 20" (1600x1200) is a little overkill... hehehehe (ok, Oblivion does actually give it a workout)

(Sorry Nasgul for the side topic) Yeah, the games don't pump out enough vertices to make my GTX's sweat (with the exception of Oblivion). But, at 1280 x 1024, throw enough objects on screen and you WILL bog it down. I was hoping that the introduction of the GX2's and the 1950xtx's etc.. would give the gaming market the incentive to really push the graphics to the max.

So, I'm going to triple LCD's. And I need to decide if I should break the SLI mode, or if I will get better performance by retaining SLImode and using a three monitor splitter from Diamond (300$).

Also, I say by Q3 (more like Q2 really) because that is when AMD is expected to have the Quad-Core perfected, as well as introducing its first gpu/cpu hybrid.

Like I said, this are merely "my predictions" which can be looked upon more as hopes for follow-thru on initial plans by AMD/ATI. Still, regardless of the outcome, I'm sticking with them due to my success with their products in the past, and their history to deliver solid, stable, top-notch performance.
The G80 has a seperate geometry processor entirely, whatre you talking about?

The G80 does not have a seperate geometry processor, nor will the R600. The unified shaders are capable of processing vertex, pixel and geometry data, and do so much more efficiently than having the vertex, pixel and geometry shaders separate.
