and dont forget .. the endless waiting frown.gif , it was supposed to start shipping in February , but i guess they ran into some trouble

i bet that with all the time spent waiting for Silverstone to make them ... the murdermod crew could actualy made a uber scratch builds case , better than the TJ-7 , and slap a MurderBox logo to it ...

... yeah , that would had been better than a pimped out TJ-7

That's what they did in the first year: made two (or more?) prototypes themselves from scratch. The second year has been spent trying to explain to Silverstone how to do the same mods in factory while keeping high quality of production.

Not sure how you figure that considering an unmodded TJ07 is $400 retail ...

... but there's always going to be people who can't understand that there are people who pay $200 for champagne when you can get fizzy white wine for $10.

I can get a TJ-07 for $300~$335 (even cheaper ones can be found used, modded/fixed up -- though not really relevant), but $200 total for that plus the MB-MK2 modifications and parts is still a bit nutters. biggrin.gif

Hey, what's wrong with the Phantom?!

*punches Tim in the nuts*

*hugs Tim* biggrin.gif

No other MFG out there could build this same chassis for even close to 1200 in cost. So 1200-1500, depending on what you want, isn't bad. It'd probably cost twice that if it wasn't for Charles and the Murderbox team. It's not for everyone, especially those that can't see the detail and engineering that went into this thing.

lachen.gif I knew that would get a rise out of you Jason!

There is nothing wrong with the Phantom (although I personally like the newer cases much better *hint*) It's a great case in it's price segment, but you know as well as I do that there is no substitute for an MKII biggrin.gif
