G80 hits 23K on 3DMark06

WOW

HOW HIGH CAN you push a couple of G80s in SLI? Single cards can hit in the 13K range, so what can two do in the hands of an insane overclocker?

How about 23,000 in 3DMark06? That's what Kingpin got on a massively overclocked Conroe with a couple of G80 cards. The scary part is he thinks they can go much higher than that. Nicely done
Here we are :

Test detail from 06' orb (scores non-publishable atm) I saw 149fps beg. of gt1with these clocks :

3DMARK 2005 SLI with CONROE :

AMAZING.

Interesting. I wonder how ATI will compare when they come out.

Kingpin always wins in any 3Dmark.

Holy. Crap.

I am expecting this to top out at something like 26-27k with the new 680i motherboards. Unleashing a good deal more performance from the CPU should help, I think. Well at least we know the CPU bottleneck cant be THAT bad.

EDIT: I guess the bios read the system wrong, he says it IS a 680i system.

Just think when they get the drivers optimized and when 3dmark supports DX10, gonna be even more insane...

Its definately one sexy setup. However your going to have to have one bice chipset to have 2 of those beasts running 100% full out.
