I haven't seen any pix of an SM8 with the 31mm extended top. But here's what you would be gaining - 25mm - the thickness of a standard fan. The front panel bays are 40mm in height, as a triple bay is 120mm. In my ST10, I have a 86mm Monsta 120.4 up top, with a 120.3 Monsta in front, and that leaves me room for a Lamptron fan controller between the two at top, only because the FC is so short..

I don't think we have any

but I'll check with Kevin. One downside of JIT production is that we don't have any "extra" cases sitting around to play with.
