Hey Jim,

We, Australian customers, would like to know the price comparison between fully assembled shipment and flat-able package for Australia?

Thanks,

Dan

One more qtn is that do you provide the horizontal supports with alot of fan holes to install inside the case. I forget the name - what was it?

On the tube pass threw plates I'm still confused how a square plate fills a round hole!

So the thin line of inconspicuous venting strips is the vented option and solid is nothing at all vented?

Thanks!!

If you purchase the standard orientation, which I would guess to be most users, with the window panel on the left side of the chassis, wouldn’t the user also want the front I/O PWR button, indicators and USB ports also mounted on the left side of the chassis, right next to the user’s right hand, instead of reaching across the front width of the chassis?

It looks like the I/O panel can be repositioned from the default config. on the right side of the chassis to the left with little effort, still would be more convenient if it was the default position to begin with, since most users are going to purchase the standard orientation.

Just sayin’.

Sure everyone here is going to purchase an SM8, count me in, but geez, so many little obstacles.

For those of you putting your PSU on the bottom, are you going to have the fan blow up into the case or down out the bottom? Seems like you need more space under the case for the latter, perhaps using casters?

Just get it shipped flat packed, much less chance of any damage occuring during transit! and I would have thought it to be cheaper due to package size alone.

Nah, Jim did a good job for taking care of my TH10 in the past. I personally prefer fully assembled shipment. It may cost less than TH10 shipment!

The I/O PWR button etc... are mounted on the right (in this instance) as then all the cables are hidden behind the motherbard panel. Depends on where you sit as well, I sit at my desk with the rig to my left, the window facing out in to the room so for me the buttons are in the best place but either way I would want as manu cables hidden from view and go through the effort of stretching an extra 6 inches to reach the panel smile.gif Each to their own though!

Jim does pack'em well! but you also miss out on the fun part of bolting the thing together yourself. tongue.gif

Guess it was a little different for me as I had 2 STH10's shipped to the UK and to have then shipped assembled would have probably doubled the price. Did enjoy the satisfaction of building them though!
